They descend into Luna’s workshop, where they meet Chastelneuf,
the magician. The two reveal that they can animate glass, and ask
Peter if he would like anything. They demonstrate a girl they have
created – lifelike, but completely silent – from which Peter recoils.
But it gives him an idea: he asks if they could make him a nephew,
and they quickly assent.

Flowers Blown in Pearl-Color and Crimson is built around a 12-tone row, a number of variations of which are played, including one with liberal use of a Bach-like pedal tone. The camera sounds are arranged into a trap beat. And there’s a return to the I Dream of My Son motif, this time slightly twisted for a much creepier kind of offspring.
